VeroSource CEO and Co-Founder Mark McAllister will join healthcare leaders from AWS Canada, the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), and NHS England at the national e-Health Conference in Halifax for a panel discussion exploring how health data can be used to improve care.
Moderated by AWS Canada's Elizabeth Keller, the session, "Data for Good: Healthcare Trends from the Data Frontier," will examine how organizations can move beyond collecting data to using it responsibly and effectively to improve health outcomes.
For Mark, the discussion is about more than technology.
"Canada's healthcare system continues to amass enormous amounts of data," says McAllister. "With the right consent models, governance, and sovereign, validated AI, we have an opportunity to use that data to dramatically improve the system."
The panel will explore how health data and AI can help healthcare organizations become more proactive, support better clinical decision-making, improve quality of life, and ultimately deliver better outcomes for patients.
The session takes place during the national e-Health Conference on June 16 in Halifax.
