New Brunswick is empowering people and providers to better control their healthcare experience by giving them access to healthcare data. New Brunswick Assistant Deputy Minister of Health, Lee Burry, and VeroSource CEO, Mark McAllister, will discuss the steps that the province has taken to provide citizens, providers, and decision-makers with secure access to healthcare data. They will share how putting healthcare data, including personal health information and wait-time data, in people’s hands has been key to achieving the goals set out in the NB Health Plan.
Attendees can expect to learn how to maximize utility of their own healthcare data assets and make data-driven decisions around when and how to allocate resources most effectively in their own jurisdictions.
